Year 1 and 2 Teachers PRTs

Getting the students to do what YOU want!

This is a popular full day course aimed at year one and two teachers (PRT), which investigates the 101 of Glasser's behaviour model. Explores the difference between Boss and Lead management, punishment and discipline, and how values and beliefs impact on our teaching. It will track the progression of maladaptive student behaviour and offer skills to decrease the speed that this happens! It will also offer practical strategies for classroom management looking at both boundary formation and checking behaviour, plus allow time for personal planning of classroom management.

Continue to get students to do what YOU Want!

This is the second day of a two day course aimed at year one and two teachers (usually with a 1-2 month gap). It continues the theme of classroom management looking at personal management plans and what is or isn't working. How to teach students to evaluate their own behaviour and encourage and support change. There is a greater emphasis on individual scenarios and of teacher behaviour. This day is still very practically based.
